I'm Arun CK

Namaste — I'm Arun C K, a typeface designer focused on creating Kannada and Latin fonts.

I design, develop, and publish free and open-source fonts with an emphasis on readability, usability, and strong typographic foundations. My work covers the complete type design process, from research and drawing letterforms to spacing, OpenType development, testing, and public release.

Through this website, I share Kannada fonts that are freely available for anyone to use, study, modify, and distribute under open licenses. My goal is not only to create fonts, but also to contribute to a broader and more diverse type ecosystem for the Kannada script. My projects include text fonts, display fonts, handwriting-inspired designs, and variable fonts, along with font technologies and tools that help improve the creation, distribution, and use of Kannada typefaces.

Whether for reading, publishing, design, education, or digital products, I believe that high-quality Kannada fonts should be accessible to everyone.
