- About: Karnata Wesleyan Mission Press is an open-source revival typeface based on historical Kannada printing specimens from the Wesleyan Mission Press. Developed as part of the Karnata Font Series by Sanchaya, the project focuses on preserving the visual character of early Kannada letterforms while adapting them for modern digital typography. The typeface was reconstructed from high-quality scans of printed books, digitized, mapped to Unicode standards, and engineered with OpenType support for contemporary use in publishing, research, and digital applications.
